Clay County High Senior Spokesmodel
My Town (at least what's left of it)
I was with my neice at the Kingdom Come state park last night right after the sun went down. The sky was beautiful, so I decided to grab my camera and take a few snapshots.
You can see all of Cumberland in this picture.
It had been a while since I had been to the Log Rock overlook. What I saw made me really sad. This is just to the left of the picture above.
This is the results of strip mining. I have mixed emotions on this issue. The jobs it provides feeds a lot of familes here, but it devistates the enviroment.
Just for fun, a snapshot of Hannah
Thanks for looking!

Harlan County High Senior Spokes Model
Our first senior spokesmodel from the new Harlan County High School is Brooke, a varsity cheerleader and great girl!
I can actually credit her and her mother for helping jumpstart my career when I moved back to Kentucky from Florida. I used Brooke as a model last fall to take outdoor portraits for my portfolio. I made business cards with her images, handed them out, and I've stayed crazy busy since!
Here are a few of my favoites from her studio senior portraits.

No Spring Chicken
Well, I was really sad when she turned 100,000 miles old, but was really happy (that she's still running) at 200,000. On a recent trip to Virginia, a bunch of zeros caught my eye. I looked down to see my odometer changing to 200,000 miles. I immediately pulled over and took this shot with a camera phone. Technology is the greatest!
