The last couple of weeks we've been finishing up some 2009 senior sessions. Keyeria is an upcoming graduate from Harlan County High School and she brought along the cutest prop for one of her portraits...her son!

Erika ~ 2009 Senior
With the rush from the Fall and Christmas season and then being out of town at photography conventions almost all of January, it had been a while since I'd had the opportunity to photograph a senior. That changed last week when I took Erika's senior portraits.
We got really lucky, when the day of her appointment it was in the 60s! We started our session at the Kingdom Come State Park and there, we created some of my favorites from her session.
I also used her as a guinnea pig to try out my new background.

Miss Lilly
Miss Lilly is six months old and trying to master sitting on her own. Her session lasted almost an hour and she was all smiles the whole time! Her mom ordered a diaper bag, a purse, and a bracelet with Lilly's portraits and I can't wait to see them.

The front says "Mommy's Angel"
This is the cutest smile ever!
Lilly was my first model for our new Baby Legs, leg warmers. We chose blue and white because her family is die-hard University of Kentucky fans.
Thanks for looking!

Maternity Portraits
My sister-in-law is due in a few weeks and I couldn't wait to shoot some maternity portraits with her daughter, Hannah. These are the first portraits taken with my new maternity wrap, and I really love it! At the end of the session Hannah wanted me to take some portraits of just her. We used a black tutu and a new blue hat that I bought recently, and I love the results!
