Baby Kandace

I've had so much to blog about lately, and so little time to blog it! So, at 1:38am, I'm making time to catch you guys up on what we've been doing.

This is baby Kandace. She is our very first Bundles & Babies client to start at the very first session. Let me tell ya...she didn't make it easy on us!

We decided on doing naked baby pictures for her newborn session. That style is, by far, my favorite! Babies tend to be uncomfortable in those cute little outfits we love to put them in. They are usually much happier in their birthday suit!

A warning to all moms who want to do naked newborn portraits. You WILL get wet (or worse)! It's just a matter of time! haha

To begin the session, we used Mom (Jessica) as a baby holder. The babies feel much more comfortable when they are being held by their mother. We had her come in wearing a long-sleeve black shirt. With the background also being black, it helped place the emphasis on the baby.

So, we undressed Kancace and put her in Jessica's lap. Before I could snap off the first shot, she went #2! Luckily, it was an easy clean-up! We gave her a break, let her finish her business and tried again.

Again, before I could get off the first shot, she goes #1! What can you say? When you gotta go...you gotta go!

Mom was such a good sport. I'm sure if she's not used to it by now...she will be soon!

After she was all empty, we had to fill her back up again. We took about a 30 minute break and let her eat. After all, prepping for your first photo shoot is a workout. :)

Finally, she was empty, then full, and finally happy! All in all, we got some beautiful shots!

Here is her birth announcement. Twenty-five of these are included in our Bundles & Babies Program. I think her's is absolutely beautiful!
